Reviews
I received excellent customer service from the staff after leaving my phone in the room and they put it in a taxi so I could receive it whilst still at the airport.
Thank you so much!
As for the hotel, it's a good place with comfortable rooms including air conditioning. I had a top floor sea view balcony room which was amazing to see the sunrise. The sun went after 1pm, by which time you can go to the beach next door. The sea can be choppy but if you walk further into town, there is a calm bay beach.
There is not much around the hotel unfortunately except for a garage shop and café 10 minutes walk away. Nonetheless, the hotel provides free water, pop, and coffee in the rooms.
TV channels are good including all the UK main channels.
The restaurant is good albeit a little expensive. I had the grilled fillet cherne fish which was very tasty indeed.
Breakfast was reasonable with a good range of choices.
The only downside were the room walls are very thin so you can hear next doors TV. Also, the swimming pool is not available due to some government regulation which is a great shame.
I liked to watch the ships and planes from the balcony.
Enjoy the pics!
We call in here to use the Cafe/Bar for a drink while out walking, usually around midday. The beer they serve is of great quality and nice and cool at a fair price. It would be nice to have a meal while visiting but there are never any menus out so I don't know if a lunchtime servis is available.
Lovely place to visit. The staff are very friendly. The rooms were clean and the food was good. Good location, next to the beach ⛱️. Different options for breakfast.
Hotel at the side of playa Blanca beach on the way into Puerto del Rosario . Stayed for one night . Large rooms , we opted for sea view , very comfortable but thin walls .
A great location by the beach front. We sampled the food menu and we enjoyed the vegetarian pizza at the restaurant.
We had a wonderful stay. The food was great and especially thank you to Rita on the front desk.
Great first stop from airport easy access to town. Great beach and spotless rooms. Great staff
My experiance
1. Food: low quality. I been offered cheapest white bread from plastic bag and drink a chemical artificial juice ( one of those that mix powder and water). Dinner was precooked and badly heated.
2. Room: You will hear everything from rooms next or above, i never stayed in a hotel that its so badly soundproof. You are next to airport so flights will also keep you awake,. But if flight or TV of the room next to you dos not bother you, the bed bugs and ants will. I had ants and to be honest it did not bother me a lot, kind on nature and something i accept it can happen. So when i was getting bitten during the night in the bed i was thinking its ants, as ants ware in bed, but after i realized its bed bugs. If this is not bad enough they cover the bed with plastic protection over the bed so as you sleep and move you can feel/hear the plastic cracking.
3. Location: nothing to be desired, in between airport and the city
4. Condition: OK they did some makeup renovating but they did not invest in making rooms minimum soundproof, you will hear room next talking and in middle of night you will have feeling someone is in your room
5. Staff: Reception OK, restaurant ...well only one women working and doing everything and she is so unfriendly
